1 - The official title for Season 2 is K-ON!! Yup it's different by one exclamation mark. In the same manner as how I fit the newer songs in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Tsubasa Chronicles, K-ON! and K-ON!! is no exception with description underneath it.

2 - I believe it's the eyecatch theme. Didn't go through the checking process. Please do let me know in the comments or send me an email about it.

Site Updates

Finally an update! Here's a breakdown:

1. News System
As you have notice, I have changed the news system.

After many years of various news posting systems (in order): NewsPro, Fusion News, CuteNews, Xpression News and then again back to CuteNews with heavy modifications. Xpression News after tons of modifications was still buggy and also troublesome to
fix.

What's new to the system:
- You can use your Gravatar in the comments. Just add your email to the email field.

- Remember your designated username each time you post a comment here.

2. Downloads Section
The heart and core of Kit's Anime MIDIs gets a slight additions to it as well. Some of you might have noticed I have been running this feature for a while.

Ratings are introduced for quality. See what they think of it and if you have an opinion on how it should be rated, why not rate it?


Another feature added for those who love statistics is the individual count of anime and game MIDI files in it.

3. MIDI Updates
I am still collecting them for a major update.

So much for once a week updates...

What have I been up to
- Projects at work
- Malaysiakini, The Malaysian Insider, The Nut Graph (Malaysians will get this. Besides Malaysian politics will never get stale with so much heat and "interesting" comments)
- Anime previews for identifying the opening and ending themes. Mostly viewing K-ON!! (or K-ON!), Heroman (the show seems kind of flat), Fairy Tail (draggy), Angel Beats! (skeptical about the idea)

Don't worry, I will still update this site, eventually.

 

THAT'S IT

I have decided on a newer solution: Switch to db4free.net .

I will do this as I can manage the time to find to solve everything. I still have pending MIDI in the hard disk waiting to be posted.

Download/Links Server Down Again

Why does this have to happen again...

Does anybody have any suggestions?
- Should I change from dynamic listings (the current system) to a static based?
- Where else can I find a reliable MySQL hosting server?

By the way, this is the last post using the Xpression News system. I will be migrating the system to CuteNews. The main reason is because of the reliability and new improved features added to it.

I will update to you on the situation if there are new postings on FreeMySQL.net.
